TOPIC: THE POWER OF ASSOCIATION.

SCRIPTURE:
Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
1 CORINTHIANS 15:33.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Your company determines your mindset, and your mindset affects your destiny.

It has been confirmed that association is very critical to life and destiny. Your association or company is very powerful because it either assists or resists the fulfilment of your destiny.

In Scripture, the wrong company destroyed the lives and destinies of people like Amnon, Samson and Rehoboam.

NOW, TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING KEY THOUGHTS CONCERNING YOUR ASSOCIATION OR COMPANY:

1. Your company determines your mindset, and your mindset affects your destiny (Proverbs 13:20).
The way you think is influenced by those who surround you like friends and associates. The kind of things you don’t usually think about can become the focus of your thought when a certain friend enters your life. Your company indeed affects your mindset, and your mindset affects your destiny.

2. Your company affects your character, and your character determines your destiny
(Proverbs 13:20).
Your character can change within a short time because of those you choose to associate with. It becomes easy for a person to drink alcohol, dwell comfortably in sin, give or take a bribe freely without feeling guilty because of the wrong company.

3. Company Supplies Counsel
(Proverbs 13:20).
Your company determines the quality of counsel available to you. Wrong counsel equals wrong destiny, and the right counsel equals the right destiny.

4. Company determines motivation
(Daniel 2:17-18).
There is a friend you will have that can set you on fire and push you out of the boat to walk on water. There is another one that would tell you, “Be careful. It is not possible to walk on water”. The right friend can be your motivation, and the wrong friend can be your demotivation.

Beloved, make up your mind to maintain the right company.
